Speedy went back to Steel City after what seemed like the longest night of his life.  He just wanted to shower and get some sleep.  What he needed to do was to talk to Aqualad and apologize.  He'd been running on his emotions earlier that night, and should've kept his temper in check.  Shower first, he decided.  He was a bit dusty from when the squid had crushed part of that building. 

At least Raven is safe, he thought, heading towards the bathroom.  I can rest with that knowledge.

Speedy-

I just wanted to say I'm sorry for causing the trouble I did for not only you last night, but for everyone.

I hope you understand that what I did was because I felt it necessary. Not only to protect you but the rest of the team. Malchior is powerful, I can't express just how dangerous he is.

I also wanted to apologize for making you worry. I have to admit, I'm new to this whole 'boyfriend' thing, and I find it strange and a little comforting that someone cares enough to risk their life for me. I know my team mates would, they have in the past, but somehow this is different.

...I really have no idea what my point is here.

I just wanted to say thanks, and invite you out for dinner and maybe a walk.

It's cool, I completely understand. I admit, I don't really think I got how powerful he was until I helped you research binding spells. And I get that you wanted to protect us, but that doesn't mean I won't try to help you if something like this happens again.

Dinner and a walk sounds great, did you have anywhere in mind?
